Audi Fashion Festival
Being like a "famous" fashion icon, I had passes to the Audi Fashion Festival. Great! A really good excuse to doll up and head for events. I totally dig dressing up for events. I have so many looks to create and today, I decided on the "Memoirs of the Geisha" look.
I attempted to do a make up video but my room is way too dark to actually construct a proper filming. I promise to get the video lights soon so I can do it properly instead of explaining through pictures.
So, prep on your bases and get your eye shadow palette ready!
I start of with putting on a real solid and sweat proof foundation (I did the make up at 3pm and the event only starts at 7pm) and prime up my eyes.
Items used : Shill's perfect primer. Followed by Revlon's liquid foundation (avoid SP products as they reflect light, making your face look more pale in pictures) and Z A concealer. Then dab on loose powder from Coverderm. Perfect canvas for painting on the colors now.
On the eyes, I had already applied Confrett D'or shimmer eye primer. Then I used OUTRAGEOUS ORANGE as the base for all my colors later. I wanted pink or red but I don't have that two shades so I settled for the next best, ORANGE (star of the day).
As you can see, they are really strong ORANGE. Hard to pull them off as you'll look very icy.
Adding gold to soften the look.
Liquid eye liner and I am done for the day! Simple! Blend blend blend.
This is how it looks in neutral light. It's not done yet as I do not have my blusher nor lipstick on.
Got to grab some bite before heading down, right? And eating does smudge your lipstick so I always apply it only when about to reach the main event.
I got to credit this place at Amara Hotel Shopping Centre. I don't know what is the bar's name but the food there is fan-ta-bu-lous. A new word. (Read : Fan-tear-bue-lous) Mix of fantastic and fabulous!
You'll never regret ordering the set dinner. =)
I am not a fan of garlic bread but I have to say they toast it really well. It's like you can really taste the garlic and the mayo mix. I don't know how they did it but two thumbs up!
I TOTALLY FORGOT TO TAKE PICTURE AS I WAS FAMISHED AND PIGGED OUT. Sorry you guys just have to imagine the salad and mashed potato that came with the grilled salmon.
The restaurant's outlook. Pretty cozy place to be - I'd say. Superb find of the week!
Anyway, move on to the main event... I'm getting carried away.
Loads of people.
In the tent outside Ngee Ann City.
Me and Boy Thunder.
The crowd went crazy.
Yours Truly with my 5 and a half inch crystal studded heels.
People love me!
Audi car.... no comments. I hate cars. They are never pretty.
Memoirs of a beauty Geisha
Red pumps. Hurt my feet like hell ok. I cannot even last 10 minutes in them. Not meant for walking. Just a show case. It costs freaking SGD2,400.
No regrets. I love them. Until they hurt my leg and now I wished they were gone!
The back view
Branded, ok! Lao Niang's wallet got big big hole already..... Boo hoo hoo. Good bye, good food. Here comes porridge and salted vegetables or maggie for the next 4 months.....
But baby, where they knock you down and out
Is where you're oughta stay
